The square of San Daniele is dominated by the majestic archpriest cathedral (dedicated to the Archangel Michael – prince of the celestial militias – ) by Domenico Rossi (1707-1725). Next to the cathedral we find the bell tower, unfinished, which was begun in 1531 based on a design by Giovanni da Udine.
The interior has three naves with two domes: at the beginning of the nave on the left a 16th century baptistery; at the first altar on the left Trinity, a copy by Domenico Fabris from an original by the painter Pordenone.
To the right, we find the ancient Palazzo Comunale, with a portico on low arches and a three-mullioned window facing the square, which houses the municipal archive and the important Civic Guarneriana Library.
